Online stores built for operations, not just for the shop window

An online store rarely breaks at “add to cart”. It breaks at 300 orders a day processed by hand, at stock levels that don’t match between the site and the warehouse, and at waybills generated one at a time in a separate tab.

The visible part of a store — catalogue, cart, checkout — is a solved problem. Mature platforms do it well and there is no point rewriting it. The difference between a store that grows and one that suffocates its team lies in what happens after the “Place order” button.

That’s why our approach has two layers: an established platform for selling, where that is the rational choice, and tools built for your exact flow for operations — goods-in, inventory, order processing, returns, invoicing.

When the catalogue, the pricing or the business rules are too specific for an existing platform, we build custom on Laravel or Spring Boot. That’s a decision to make with your eyes open and the costs on the table — not one taken out of technical enthusiasm.

What we cover

A new store on the right platform

We choose together based on catalogue size, pricing complexity, B2B or B2C, and who will administer it. We explain the trade-off of every option before we write the first line of code.

Integration with the Romanian ecosystem

eMAG Marketplace, Fan Courier, Cargus, Sameday, DPD, GLS, SmartBill, Oblio, FGO, Netopia, EuPlătesc, Stripe, instalment payments, ANAF e-Factura. Bidirectional, with retries and logging — not manual CSV imports.

Stock and price synchronisation

One real stock level, seen identically by the website, by eMAG, by the physical shop and by the warehouse. Supplier feeds, pricing rules, alerts when something doesn’t add up.

Warehouse and back-office tooling

This is where a Java desktop application often comes in: goods-in with a scanner, inventory, picking, batch printing of labels and waybills. The web is for selling, the desktop is for speed in the warehouse.

Performance and SEO for large catalogues

Indexable filtering without generating thousands of duplicate URLs, Product and Offer structured data, sectioned sitemaps, optimised images, caching at several levels.

Migration from your current platform

Products, categories, customers, order history and — critically — 301 redirects on every old URL, so you don’t lose the rankings you spent years earning.

A good fit if

  • you sell online and order processing has become difficult
  • you hold stock in several places and it never matches
  • you also sell on eMAG and want a single place to manage everything
  • you need per-customer pricing, quote-based ordering or another B2B flow
  • you have a store on an old, slow platform with modules that no longer get updates

Frequently asked questions

Which platform do you recommend?

For small and mid-sized catalogues with editorial content: WooCommerce. For large catalogues with complex variants: PrestaShop or Shopware. For B2B with unusual pricing rules: Sylius or custom. For anyone who wants zero infrastructure worries and accepts a commission: Shopify. The real recommendation comes after we see the catalogue and the order flow.

Custom or an existing platform?

An existing platform by default. Custom becomes justified when your pricing logic, product configuration or order flow fights the platform instead of using it — at that point you pay more in modules and workarounds than the correct build would cost. We’ll show you the arithmetic, not just the conclusion.

Does the eMAG integration work in both directions?

Yes. Products and stock go up from your system, orders come down automatically, statuses update. No manual exports and no stock overlap between channels.

Can I migrate without losing my Google rankings?

Yes, if it’s planned. We build a complete map of old → new URLs, add 301 redirects, keep the category structure where it makes sense, and after launch we watch Search Console for a few weeks. A migration without redirects is the most expensive way to save two days of work.

Do you handle maintenance after launch?

Yes, on a retainer: hosting, security updates, verified backups, monitoring, plus a number of development hours per month. Unused stores break; used ones need somebody watching them.
