Who we are and how we work
TechCraft is a software development studio based in Timișoara. Behind it are more than 15 years of writing production code and over 100 web applications delivered — from brochure sites to business systems used daily by hundreds of people.
How we work, concretely
We say no when it’s warranted
If your project needs something other than what you asked for, or if somebody else would do it better, we tell you in the first conversation. We have turned down projects we could have taken; the reputation isn’t worth it.
Estimates with the risks visible
We prefer a realistic range and a list of unknowns over a pretty deadline that gets missed. If something unexpected comes up, you hear about it the week it appears.
You can carry on without us
The code, the documentation, the access and the accounts are yours from the start. We write assuming somebody will replace us — because in a long-lived system that will happen sooner or later.
Technology chosen on merit
Sometimes the answer is WordPress, not a modern framework. Sometimes it’s a monolith, not microservices. We explain the trade-off of each option and you decide with full information.

The base is in Timișoara, but the way of working is remote and works just as well for a client in Cluj, Bucharest, Iași or Constanța. Conversations happen over video, the test environment is available at any time, and progress is visible weekly.
For clients in Timișoara and the west of the country, we can meet in person at the start of a project or at handover. For projects involving equipment — a warehouse, label printers, scales — an on-site visit usually saves more than it costs.
